The story behind
Dámelo, according to DoReSol
The song Dámelo, with a duration of 4:07, originates from the creative mind of Juanes, who not only contributed the music but was also in charge of the recording engineering. The mixing process involved the participation of Dave Heuer and Thom Russo, while the production was fueled by the joint work of Juanes with Aníbal Kerpel and Gustavo Santaolalla. This piece is part of the album Mi sangre, originally released on September 28, 2004.
The album Mi sangre, which translates to My Blood in English, is Juanes' third studio work. In 2005, a special edition of this album was released, the 'Tour Edition', which was a limited and numbered run of 150,000 copies. This expanded version included, in addition to the 12 original songs, live versions of tracks such as A Dios le Pido, La Camisa Negra, Fotografía, and Nada Valgo Sin Tu Amor. It also added additional material, such as the song La Paga, with the collaboration of Taboo from The Black Eyed Peas, a remix of La Camisa Negra, and the unreleased track Lo Que Importa, which was originally intended for another project.
