The story behind
Cementerio Club, according to DoReSol
Cementerio Club is a Peruvian group of alternative rock that started doing things in 1996. In 1999, MTV started showing their video of "Barco Viejo" and in 2001 another one of "Sometimes Bonita". In 2004, their video "Inmortales" won the award for best new artist in Latin America at the MTV Video Music Awards. That same year, their album "Cementerio Aclubstico ¿Aún Crees En La Magia?" received the recognition of album of the year at MTV. The bassist and lead guitarist, José Arbulú, released a solo album called "Libres". The lead guitarist, Pedro Solano, also released a solo album titled "+ Amor".
