Amor y fe

The song *Amor y fe* by La Ley, with its 4 minutes and 34 seconds duration, is taken from the album Uno, released in February 2000. This work marked a shift in the Chilean band's sound, distancing themselves from the darker, electro-industrial tinged atmospheres of Vértigo, as well as the gothic style with grunge influences of Invisible. Instead, Uno leans towards a more direct alternative rock sound, reducing experimentation with ambient textures.

This album was the first in which La Ley presented themselves as a trio, following the departure of Rodrigo Aboitiz and Luciano Rojas. For the recording of the bass lines, they had the collaboration of Archie Frugone. In subsequent tours, J.C. Cumplido returned as bassist until his departure in 2001, being replaced again by Archie Frugone, who continued with the band. The album Uno, along with 2003's Libertad, consolidated La Ley as a prominent presence in Latin America, earning a Latin Grammy award for each of them.
