Michael Jackson

Since he began performing in public at the age of six, Michael Jackson demonstrated a special connection with music and movement. His voice, from a very young age, was already leading The Jacksons, a group he formed with his brothers that soon caught attention. It was in that early stage, in the 1970s, when he released his first solo works, such as Got to Be There and Ben, already showing an artistic personality that went beyond what was expected for his age. The collaboration with producer Quincy Jones, starting with his participation in the film The Wiz in 1978, marked a turning point, leading to Off the Wall in 1979.

This album not only consolidated him as an individually successful artist but also laid the groundwork for the sound that would catapult him to global fame. The true global phenomenon arrived with Thriller in 1982. This work not only became the best-selling album in history but also redefined how popular music was consumed. The music videos for songs like Billie Jean and Beat It became television events, and the performance of the moonwalk during the broadcast of "Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever" in 1983 immortalized him in popular culture. Every movement, every gesture, became part of his artistic language. Subsequently, albums like Bad (1987) continued this streak of success, being the first to generate five number-one singles on the US Billboard Hot 100, including I Just Can't Stop Loving You and Dirty Diana.
