Lady Gaga

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (New York, March 28, 1986), known by her stage name Lady Gaga, is an American singer, songwriter, producer, dancer, actress, activist, and fashion designer. Born and raised in New York City, she studied at the Convent of the Sacred Heart and briefly attended the Tisch School of the Arts, part of New York University, before dropping out to focus on her music career. It was thus that she burst onto the rock scene in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and signed with Streamline Records at the end of 2007. At the time she was working as a songwriter for the label, her voice caught the attention of artist Akon, who got her to sign with Kon Live Distribution.Gaga gained fame as an artist after the release of her debut album, The Fame (2008), which includes the singles «Just Dance», «Poker Face», «LoveGame» and «Paparazzi».

The album was a commercial success — reaching number one on numerous charts — and received good reviews. After starting her tour The Fame Ball Tour, she released the EP The Fame Monster (2009), which contains the songs «Bad Romance», «Telephone» and «Alejandro». Her success allowed her to perform her tour The Monster Ball Tour, considered one of the highest-grossing concert series in music industry history. Her next album, Born This Way (2011), reached number one on several sales charts and includes singles such as «Born This Way», «Judas», «The Edge of Glory», «Yoü and I» and «Bloody Mary». The album was promoted with her tour Born This Way Ball Tour, where the artist performed in various stadiums around the world.
