When you dive into Veneno, you encounter a sonic proposal that fuses rhythms like Dancehall, Latin Pop, and touches of Reggaeton and Reggae. The track, which has a duration of 3:42, was conceived in a creative process that began in June 2017, just after Danny Ocean signed with Warner Music Group. The artist himself was responsible for the complete production of what would be his debut album, 54+1, released in 2019 under the label Atlantic Records. The mixing and mastering were carried out in Miami, with contributions from engineers like Ricardo Sangiao at Sterling Sound.

The construction of 54+1 involved a team of collaborators. For example, Carlos Ramírez participated as a co-writer on the track Swing. Additionally, Chris Gehringer, Delbert Bowers, Gonzalo Contreras, and Carlos Escalona worked on the sound engineering. This foundation of work, where Danny Ocean took a leading role in production, laid the groundwork for a sound that draws from diverse urban and Caribbean influences.
