The encounter between Fito Páez and Cecilia Roth took place in 1991, in Punta del Este, Uruguay, during a party. At that time, Cecilia, who resided in Spain, had returned to Argentina to recover from hepatitis. Fito, younger, was already recognized as a promise of Argentine rock. It was at that party that he approached her. Shortly after, both went through sentimental breakups, and it was in that context of wounded hearts that their paths joined more deeply.
