After an initial critically acclaimed phase, his global projection was solidified in the early nineties with releases such as El amor después del amor (1992) and the aforementioned Circo Beat (1994), which together sold over a million copies. His work has been recognized with multiple awards, including five Latin Grammy Awards and the Premio Konex de Platino in 1995 as the best rock composer of the decade in Argentina.
