The story behind
She’s Electric, according to DoReSol
The song She’s Electric, with its infectious rhythm and catchy melody, is a good example of the energy that Oasis was able to capture in their second album, (What's The Story) Morning Glory?. This album, released on October 2, 1995, marked a turning point for the band, taking them from being an independent act to a global phenomenon. The production, led by Owen Morris and the lead guitarist and songwriter Noel Gallagher, presented a distinctive sound, with more elaborate arrangements and grandiose choruses that moved away from the rawness of their previous work, Definitely Maybe (1994). It was also the first album to feature drummer Alan White, who took the place of Tony McCarroll, although the latter still contributed his talent on the track Some Might Say.
The story of Oasis, originating from Manchester and formed in 1991, is marked by commercial success and the influence of the Gallagher brothers. Following the impact of their debut album, they sold millions of copies of (What's The Story) Morning Glory? and their next work, Be Here Now, broke sales records in the UK. This trajectory led them to feature in the Guinness Book of Records, solidifying their position as one of the most relevant groups in their country. With 33 singles released, several of them reaching number one on the UK and US charts, the band demonstrated their ability to connect with a massive audience, largely driven by the compositions of Noel Gallagher and the voice of his brother Liam Gallagher.
