This piece, Perhaps, because, has an energy that is felt from the first chord. The music, born from the mind of Charly García, is what drives everything, and its structure invites us to feel it in a very direct way. The original recording, with its duration of 2 minutes and 13 seconds, condenses a sonic idea that became very recognizable.

The context of its creation takes us back to 1972, when Sui Generis released their first album, Vida. This work was fundamental for the projection of the duo and of Charly García in particular. It is said that the album captured a feeling of the era, and several of its songs were integrated into popular culture in such a way that they are still heard today at gatherings or leisure moments. The band was formed at the Instituto Social Militar Dr. Dámaso Centeno, influenced by the Swinging London atmosphere and the regulars of La Cueva, although it soon evolved into an acoustic duo format. It was during a tour of Mar del Plata that they secured a contract with Jorge Álvarez for the Microfón label. In 2007, Rolling Stone Argentina magazine ranked it 66th on its list of the 100 best Argentine rock albums.
