The song Pombo Correio, with its duration of 2 minutes and 10 seconds, is a piece that invites reflection from its first measures. It was originally released in 1965, as part of the debut album of the same name by Maria Bethânia. Throughout her career, she has released around 50 studio albums, establishing herself as one of Brazil’s most prominent artists, with sales exceeding 26 million copies.
