This track, part of the album Eco, released in 2004, stands out for the detail in its lyrics and the use of string arrangements, elements that became a distinctive mark of his work at that time. The album Eco was recorded mainly in Uruguay, at Sondor Studios, and featured production by Juan Campodónico and co-production by Carlos Casacuberta. Before this album, Drexler had already been recognized in 1991 with an award at the First Contest of Unpublished National Song in Montevideo, sharing a cassette released by the label Sondor. His first album, La luz que sabe robar, was released the following year by the label Ayuí / Tacuabé.
