Pepperland

In the sonic universe of The Beatles, there is a piece called Pepperland which, although not the most well-known, holds a particular curiosity. Its duration is 2:23, a brief span but sufficient to immerse us in a sonic atmosphere that departs from the conventional. This piece is part of the album Yellow Submarine, released in 1969, which served as the soundtrack for the animated film of the same name. The film, presented in London in June 1968, led to an album that combined already known tracks with new material.

The album Yellow Submarine is an interesting collage. It includes songs like Yellow Submarine, which was already on 1966's Revolver, and All You Need Is Love, a 1967 single that would later appear on the American album Magical Mystery Tour. The rest of the content, including Pepperland, is complemented by the orchestration that George Martin composed for the film.
