Mujer gala

The song Mujer gala by Aterciopelados, with its duration of just one minute and thirty seconds, is a sonic moment that condenses a proposal. It is part of El Dorado, the Colombian band's second studio album, released in 1995. This album, recorded at Audiovisión studios in Bogotá, became a turning point for the group, being recognized by critics as one of the fundamental works of Spanish-language rock and the one that opened the doors to broader recognition.El Dorado was produced by Federico López and, in addition to Mujer gala, includes songs like Bolero Falaz, which has been especially celebrated.

The album's importance was reflected years later, in 2006, when American magazine Al Borde included it in its list of the 250 most relevant albums of Ibero-American rock, being one of Aterciopelados' three records to appear there.
