The story behind
The first time Gustavo Cerati, Zeta Bosio, and Charly Alberti heard the tape of *Te hacen falta vitaminas* backwards, something clicked. From that curious sonic experience, where a shout of "¡Eyo!" from Zeta Bosio marked the beginning, *Mi novia tiene bíceps* was born. This piece, which is part of their 1984 self-titled debut album, immerses itself in the spirit of "fun music" that was flourishing in Argentina in the early '80s. The lyrics, with that ironic and playful touch characteristic of Soda Stereo's beginnings, move away from conventions to propose a humorous vision, reflecting the energy of contemporary bands like Los Twist or Virus.
This track, with a duration of 2:26, was composed by Carlos Alberto Ficicchia, Gustavo Cerati, and Zeta Bosio. The production of this first Soda Stereo album was handled by Federico Moura, a central figure of Virus. The overall sound of the album, including *Mi novia tiene bíceps*, is markedly distinct from what would come later in the band's career, exploring a particular air and aesthetic within their discography.
