The story behind
Los sobrevivientes, according to DoReSol
The song *Los sobrevivientes* by Serú Girán has an energy that invites you to dive into its structure. Its duration of 3 minutes and 51 seconds feels built on clear and direct ideas, a distinctive trait of this band.
This track is part of *La Grasa De Las Capitales*, the second studio album by Serú Girán, released in August 1979 under the Sazam label. For this work, the band opted for a more straightforward approach, leaving behind the orchestration they had explored in their 1978 debut album, which had not been fully embraced by the public. The proposal for *La Grasa De Las Capitales* focused on simpler and more direct compositions. The album was performed live at the Auditorio Buenos Aires (also known as Ex Kraft) between September 6 and 16, 1979. This record was also recognized by Rolling Stone magazine in Buenos Aires, ranking at number 17 on the list of the best Argentine rock albums of all time. The album cover is a parody of the magazine Gente, featuring the band members.
