The story behind

This song by Andrés Calamaro has a playful air that is noticeable from the first measures. It's not just the fast-paced rhythm or the casual lyrics, but that blend of nostalgia and humor that appears when you least expect it. The song progresses like a quick dialogue, with shifts in intensity that force you to pay attention to every word, as if you were listening to a conversation among friends where everyone talks at the same time but without losing the thread.

Calamaro arrived at this style after years of moving between bands and genres. At eight years old, he received his first bandoneon, but soon switched to the electric guitar and piano, an instrument he studied with Osvaldo Calo. In Uruguay, his first recording was as a keyboardist in Raíces, recommended by Sergio Makaroff. Later, he tried his luck with the Chorizo Colorado Blues Band alongside Augusto Gringui Herrera, and later joined The Morgan, where Héctor Zeta Bosio, Charly Amato, and Gustavo Cerati played. That lineup evolved into Stress, the seed of Los Estereotipos, and finally into Proyecto Erekto when Cerati joined. The song reflects that journey: a mix of experiences, rhythms, and sounds that accumulated until this track emerged.
