In La espera time is not measured in minutes, but in longing. It's one of those songs that doesn't announce its arrival, but once it enters your body, it doesn't leave the same. They recorded it in the middle of a tour that lasted years, between 2007 and 2010. By then, the band had already tried their luck with traditional labels, but they decided they wanted to control their own path and founded La Mafafa, their independent label. Rodríguez put it bluntly: the record companies didn't offer them terms that convinced them, so they preferred to take the risk. Before La Dulzura saw the light, they had already shared some songs online, including La Compl, but La espera arrived with the calm that only well-thought-out things possess.
