Igual que ayer (Reprise)

This version of Igual que ayer that you are about to play has an interesting story behind it. It is a special edition, a Reprise, which adds a particular sonic detail: its duration is only 17 seconds. This makes it a brief but significant piece within the context of the self-titled album, the sixth studio album by Enanitos Verdes, released in January 1992.

The recording of this particular work marked a reunion for the band, after a period in which Marciano Cantero had been focused on his personal project. For this stage, keyboardist Eduardo Lalanne joined, whose presence was even reflected on the album cover alongside Cantero, Staiti, and Piccolo. Furthermore, Andrés Calamaro played a fundamental role as producer, also contributing backing vocals and playing various instruments on all tracks of the album.
