The story behind
The Kinks have that song, I Took My Baby Home, which lasts a minute and forty-nine seconds. They play it as if it were a story of someone who left home, went far away, and then came back. The voice gets softer, as if talking in an empty room, looking back. It's not a strong rock song, more like a song of someone questioning whether what they did was right. The lyrics tell of a man taking his girlfriend home, but he doesn't seem happy. It's as if he's saying: "I took her home, but I don't know if it was the best thing."
