The album title refers to the address where Clapton resided in Golden Beach, Florida, while working on these recordings. After finishing the album, Clapton and Robert Stigwood, director of RSO Records, recommended that same house and Criteria Studios in Miami to the Bee Gees, who also belonged to RSO. The Bee Gees moved there to compose and record their album Main Course.
