The song *Feitio de Oração* has a duration of 2 minutes and 24 seconds. It was originally released in June 1965 as a mono LP record, under the RCA Victor label. Later, in 1971, the same album had a stereo reissue through RCA Camden. Finally, in 1996, a remastered CD version was released by Sony BMG.
Maria Bethânia, whose full name is Maria Bethânia Vianna Telles Velloso, was born in Santo Amaro, Bahia, Brazil, on June 18, 1946. Her musical career began in 1964, participating in the Opinião concert in Rio de Janeiro. A year later, in 1965, she achieved great popularity throughout the country thanks to her single *Carcará*. She comes from a family with a strong connection to the arts, being the sister of singer-songwriters Caetano Veloso and Mabel Velloso, and aunt of singers Belô Velloso and Jota Velloso. Throughout her career, she has released 50 studio albums and has established herself as one of Brazil's most prominent artists, with sales exceeding 26 million copies.
