Enrique Miguel Iglesias Preysler, born in Madrid in 1975, began his musical career in 1995 after signing with Fonovisa, a label of the Mexican company Televisa, which was key to boosting his career in Spanish-speaking markets and among the Latino community in the United States. Subsequently, in 1999, he made the leap to the English-speaking market by signing with Interscope, and also joined Universal Music Latino for his Spanish releases.
