When Enanitos Verdes reunited to record Igual que ayer, the result was an album that brought the band back after a period of individual projects. In this phase, Eduardo Lalanne joined on keyboards, sharing the cover art with Marciano Cantero, Staiti, and Piccolo. The album's production was handled by Andrés Calamaro, who also provided backing vocals and played several instruments on each song.
