This discographic work marked the Mexican singer's seventh studio production and once again featured the collaboration of composer and producer Kike Santander, who had previously worked with him on the previous album, *Mi Vida Sin Tu Amor*, in 1999. Cristian Castro, whose full name is Cristian Sainz Valdés Castro, was born in Mexico City in 1974.
