The story behind
There are songs that, when played, invite you to immerse yourself in their atmosphere, and *Don de fluir* is one of them. It's not just about the notes or the words, but about how everything intertwines to create a sense of movement and depth. The duration of 3:56 gives us just enough time to be carried away by this sonic proposal.
The recording of *Eco*, the album to which this piece belongs, took place in Uruguay, specifically at Sondor Studios. The production was handled by Juan Campodónico and Carlos Casacuberta, with the collaboration of Jorge Drexler himself on the mix, along with Julio Berta, Pablo García, and Javi Varela. This album, released in 2004, marked an important point in Drexler's career, consolidating his style which fuses acoustic composition with electronic elements, paying special attention to lyrical details and string arrangements. The context of this album was enriched after winning the Academy Award for "Al otro lado del río", a song that was included in a later reissue of the album, titled *Eco²*.
