Cristian Castro, whose full name is Cristian Sainz Valdés Castro, was born in Mexico City in 1974. He comes from a family with a strong connection to the artistic world; he is the son of renowned actors Verónica Castro and Manuel "El Loco" Valdés. On his mother's side, he is the nephew of telenovela producer José Alberto "El Güero" Castro, and on his father's side, he is descended from the famous comedian Germán Valdés, known as Tin Tán, and actor Ramón Valdés, who played Don Ramón in El Chavo del Ocho. Despite initially venturing into acting, Cristian Castro found his true calling in singing, which led him to achieve international fame. Throughout his career, he has managed to place 29 of his songs at the top of the Top Latin Songs charts, being recognized as one of the most outstanding Spanish-speaking singers in the history of Billboard.
