The story behind
Cochise, according to DoReSol
The music video for "Cochise," Audioslave's lead single, was filmed in Los Angeles, California, in September 2002, and its production was so spectacular that it caused an unexpected public stir. The shoot, which took place near the Sepulveda Dam, used such a massive amount of pyrotechnics and fireworks that local residents came to believe the city was under terrorist attack. Guitarist Tom Morello recounted how the police and news stations received thousands of calls, leading to highway closures amid fears of a siege. This visual spectacle, designed by Andrew Elias
