The story behind
The song *Ciudad mágica* by Tan Biónica became a landmark for the group, being the first single from their third album, Destinología. Along with other tracks like Ella or La melodía de Dios, it helped the band achieve greater projection, even outside of Argentina.
Upon its release, the song resonated well with both critics and fans. It immediately reached the top of the Top 20 in Argentina. The music video accompanying *Ciudad mágica* takes us through the lives of young people in Buenos Aires, who encounter a light that transports them to a party. In the clip, some mentions of Budweiser, who collaborated on the song, can be seen.
Destinología, the album of which *Ciudad mágica* is a part, was released on May 20, 2013. It was recorded between 2012 and 2013, and the mastering work was done in New York, at Sterling Sounds. The official presentation of the album took place at the Luna Park in Buenos Aires on June 28 and 29 of that same year, marking the beginning of the Tour Destinológico. This tour extended until December 7, 2014, culminating with a grand concert at the Hipódromo de Palermo, before a large crowd. The tour took Tan Biónica through different cities in Argentina, Uruguay, and other countries in Latin America, including Paraguay.
