Fun facts
Robert Miles released a song called «Children», which in Spanish is «Niños». It was his first single, released in January 1995. A month later, in November, it appeared on his first album, Dreamland. The song became famous for its smooth rhythm and sound that reminds of the 1980s.
The story behind
The Mission released Children, their second album, in 1988. It was released by Mercury Records and has a darker sound than their previous works, according to some critics. The album reached number two on the UK album chart, something they had not achieved before. Three days after its release, it was certified gold in the UK for having sold over 100,000 copies. In the United States, it reached number 126 on the Billboard 200.
To promote it, they released two singles: Tower of Strength reached number 12 on the UK Singles Chart, and Beyond the Pale placed at number 32. All the songs are by The Mission, unless stated otherwise. The album's duration is 3 minutes and 7 seconds.
