The story behind
Caseríos #2, according to DoReSol
The song *Caseríos #2* by Don Omar, with a duration of 4 minutes and 5 seconds, is from his debut album *The Last Don*. This work, originally released on June 17, 2003, was fundamental for the international expansion of reggaeton. The production of this track, like much of the album, was handled by Luny Tunes and Eliel, who laid the sonic foundations that would resonate in Latin America and beyond.
*The Last Don* not only marked the beginning of the solo career of William Omar Landrón Rivera, known artistically as Don Omar, but also featured the participation of key figures from the scene such as Daddy Yankee, Glory, Héctor “El Bambino”, Trébol Clan, and Gallego. The album had a later reissue under the *The Gold Series* series in 2006, through Machete Music. Critic Jason Birchmeier, from AllMusic, recognized the album's impact, giving it a rating of 4 out of 5 stars and highlighting its pioneering role in the genre's global projection.
