Be Together

This song, Be Together, is presented as the starting point of Major Lazer's third studio album, titled Peace Is the Mission, released in 2015. It was released as the fourth promotional single from the project. Its presence on electronic music platforms and channels dedicated to the genre was consolidated, in part, after the appearance of a remix created by trap artist Vanic on his SoundCloud account.

The production of Be Together took place at Sandhill Sound in Chicago. The composition featured the collaboration of Diplo, Thomas Pentz, Andrew Swanson, and the members of Wild Belle, Elliot Bergman and Natalie Bergman. The sound mixing was handled by Major Lazer along with Djemba Djemba. In November 2015, the EP Australazer was released, which included six versions of Be Together by various Australian EDM artists. The official video for the song saw the light of day on January 19, 2016, shared through Major Lazer's YouTube channel. The album Peace Is the Mission, of which it is a part, was released on June 1, 2015, and was preceded by the international hit Lean On, featuring DJ Snake and MØ. Another standout single from the album is Powerful, featuring Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley.
