The story behind
The song Bailando (Spanish version), with its duration of 4:03, is one of the tracks that are part of Enrique Iglesias's tenth studio album, titled Sex and Love. This album was released on March 14, 2014. The album featured the collaboration of a notable list of artists, including Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue, Descemer Bueno, Pitbull, Flo Rida, Anthony Touma, Romeo Santos, Mickael Carreira, Marco Antonio Solís, Luan Santana, India Martínez, and Sean Paul, among others.
Enrique Iglesias, born in Madrid in 1975, began his musical career in 1995. His career initially took off with the record label Fonovisa, part of the Mexican company Televisa, which allowed him to consolidate himself in the Spanish-speaking market and among the Latin community in the United States. Later, in 1999, he made the leap to the English-speaking market by signing with Interscope. He later joined Universal Music Latino, under the umbrella of Universal Music, to continue releasing his music in Spanish. In 2010, his professional path led him to sign with Universal Republic. The album Sex and Love, in addition to Bailando, included other Spanish-language singles that reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart: Loco and El Perdedor. The album was recognized with the Lo Nuestro Award for Pop Album of the Year.
