The story behind
When Ricardo Montaner embarked on the creation of his eighth album, titled Viene del alma, released in 1995, he sought to explore a different sonic path. This album, produced by EMI Latin, notably departed from what the public was accustomed to hearing from him, adopting Italian influences and a style that felt fresh and experimental. Despite being a different proposal, several songs emerged from this work that became singles, such as "Viene del alma", "Soy tuyo", "Pasa todo", and "Bórrame".
Within this project, the song Atrapando nubes stands out for its duration of 3 minutes and 53 seconds, encapsulating that search for a novel and particular sound that characterized Viene del alma. It was a moment in Montaner's career where he dared to experiment with lyrics and arrangements, offering the listener a less predictable and more daring musical facet, marking a difference with his previous and subsequent works.
