The story behind

This musical piece, Amigos, by the Argentine group Enanitos Verdes, was included in their sixth studio album, Igual que ayer, released in January 1992. The music composition was handled by Marciano Cantero. The song has a duration of 2 minutes and 55 seconds. The recording of Igual que ayer marked the band's return after a period in which Marciano Cantero had explored his path as a solo artist. For the production of this album, keyboardist Eduardo Lalanne was incorporated, who appears on the cover along with Cantero, Staiti, and Piccolo. Additionally, Andrés Calamaro, who was in charge of the album's production, contributed backing vocals and played various instruments on all the songs of the album.
