Zoé

When one dives into the songs of Zoé, they encounter a sonic universe that draws from psychedelic rock, romantic ballads, and pop rock. The band, originally from Cuernavaca, Morelos, was established in 1997, though their beginnings date back to 1994. Over nearly three decades, they have left a significant mark on Spanish-language music. Most of the lyrics come from the pen of León Larregui, but the musical construction is a collective effort, where each member contributes their vision to create that distinctive sound that sets them apart, both in their compositions and their striking stage performances.

The journey of Zoé has not been without evolution. In the late 1990s, they could be seen in informal performances and on spaces like the TV Azteca program *Coca-Cola Rock Líquido* between 1995 and 1996, where they shared unreleased tracks and gave interviews. In those early years, the lineup included León Larregui on vocals, Sergio Acosta on guitar, Rodolfo Samperio on bass, and Beto Cabrera on drums. After Samperio's departure, Ángel Mosqueda took over bass duties and Jesús Báez joined on keyboards, forming the core that would be officially established in Mexico City in 1997.
