Tierra Adentro

Tierra Adentro started moving in 2014, and since then they have gone to many places. Today they are the ones most heard at traditional music festivals all over the country. They come from Paraguay, but their sound reaches far. This year they will be back in the United States, at the PlayStation Theater in New York, for the third time.

The band has five people: Dani Meza sings, Luis Duarte plays guitar and composes, Rodrigo Pereira handles the keyboard and the accordion, Beto Barrios sets the rhythm with the drums, and Ariel Escurra takes care of the bass. Together they make a sound that feels authentic, as if it comes out of the earth itself.

Their music is folklore latinoamericano, and they do it with the heart. They want the songs to reach the feelings of people, as if they were stories told in the fields. They were nominated for a Latin Grammy for the album Aguije, in the category of Best Folk Album.
