Pappo’s Blues

Pappo’s Blues started in 1970, when Pappo, a guy from Buenos Aires, started playing blues rock and hard rock. He was the type that did everything: played guitar, sang and wrote songs. Before forming the band, he had been in groups like Los Abuelos de la Nada and Los Gatos, and that led him to try new things, mixing blues with stronger rock.

Pappo was born in 1950, and from the beginning he was the leader. He was the only one who was always there until the band ended in 1980. Later, they reunited until 1999. At that time, he played with B.B. King in Buenos Aires, and the old bluesman called him "The Cheeseman" for a gift of cheese and wine. That put him on the map.
