About the album
Treinta minutos de vida, according to DoReSol
This debut album is a compendium of songs that marked Moris's path. While Ayer nomás is well-known, and Pato trabaja en una carnicería and Escúchame entre el ruido are also fundamental parts, the song that resonates most strongly is El oso. This piece, considered by many as a milestone of early Argentine rock, encapsulates the essence of the record, which fuses rock with hints of protest songs. Participating musicians included friends like Pappo, who contributed electric bass on several tracks, organist Richard Green, and members of Manal: Claudio Gabis on guitar and Javier Martínez on drums and percussion.
Over time, Treinta minutos de vida has been recognized for its value. Rolling Stone Argentina magazine ranked it among the best albums in the history of national rock, first in eighth place in the 2000s and then eleventh in 2013. The album had several subsequent releases: in 1973, the Talent label reissued it including the track Juan, el noble caballero. Later, in the nineties, Sony Music re-released it on CD with three additional songs: Juan, el noble caballero, Escúchame, and Muchacho.
