About the album

Meio desligado, according to DoReSol

Within Meio Desligado, we find an interesting mix of songs. On one hand, there are reinterpretations of their own songs like Deus (Apareça na Televisão), to which they gave a more mystical tint, and romantic versions of Alice (Não Me Escreva Aquela Carta de Amor), Seu Espião, Porque Não Eu?, and Gosto de Ser Cruel, where the violin and piano take center stage. A country-tinged version of No Meio da Rua was also included. The album is completed with three covers by other artists: Canário do Reino, Cristina by Tim Maia, and Solidão Que Nada, a song by Cazuza that became one of the album's strong points. Of course, their hits like Grand' Hotel, Como Eu Quero, and Eu Tive um Sonho were not missing. Despite being an acoustic album recorded live, it did not have a video release. This work was the band's last to be released in LP format.
