About the album

I Will Always Love You: The Best of Whitney Houston, according to DoReSol

Among the most notable tracks, "I Will Always Love You" stands as a timeless anthem, showcasing Houston’s ability to convey deep emotions through her performance. The song, originally written and recorded by Dolly Parton, became a global phenomenon thanks to Houston’s powerful rendition for the soundtrack of The Bodyguard. Another key moment in the album is "So Emotional", which captures the energy and rhythmic style characteristic of her work, solidifying her place in 80s and 90s pop music.

The album was met with great enthusiasm, and its release included liner notes written by Clive Davis, a pivotal figure in Houston’s career. The inclusion of "Never Give Up" as the lead single and its release as a lyric video on Houston’s YouTube channel reflect the desire to keep her musical legacy alive. With over 220 million records sold throughout her career, Whitney Houston remains one of the most influential and beloved artists in music, and this album is a testament to her enduring impact.
