Amanecer búho

Buenos Muchachos came out in 2003, and from the first second you can tell it's not a normal album. The band dives headfirst into a sound that mixes what seems like a rock out-of-focus with touches of indie and a touch of the most crazy. The songs range from the most serious to the most absurd, as if they were playing with the idea of what an album could sound like at that moment.

About the album

Amanecer búho, according to DoReSol

There are things that make you think, like the lullaby for Kurt Cobain or that line that mentions a crushed lobster. It's not an album you listen to once and leave. It's like each song has its own story, and sometimes it makes you laugh, other times it leaves you in silence. Some are more direct, others more weird, but they're all there, as if the band had decided that the album was a place where they could say what they wanted without filters.
