Enrique Iglesias, born in Madrid in 1975, began his musical journey in 1995, signing with Fonovisa, a label of the Mexican company Televisa that boosted his initial career in Spanish-speaking countries and among the Latino community in the United States. Later, in 1999, he made the leap to the English-speaking market by signing with Interscope, and continued releasing albums in Spanish with Universal Music Latino. By 2010, his career led him to Universal Republic. Throughout his career, he has achieved significant sales, surpassing 60 million albums and 40 million singles in both languages, consolidating himself as one of the best-selling artists worldwide. His previous album, Euphoria, reached the number one spot in sales in Spain, Mexico, and other countries during its first weeks, selling over a million copies and 12 million singles, in addition to appearing in the Top 10 charts in many markets.
