The story behind Going to Damián's House, a track from the album Raro by El Cuarteto de Nos, takes us to a moment of reinvention for the band. After a previous attempt in 2004 to release an album with new material and reworks of their classics, focused on the Argentine audience without the expected success, the band embarked again on the recording of Raro. This time, producer Juan Campodónico was back in charge, seeking a fresh sound. The album cover, a montage of the members' faces, anticipated the exploration it contained. Despite Bizarro Records not having high expectations at the time of its release, the album proved to be a turning point.

The album Raro was released in 2006, marking the band's return to the production of Juan Campodónico and aiming to consolidate their sound. The band, which already had a base of loyal followers in Argentina, faced the difficulty of capturing the interest of record labels.
