The story behind
Todas Las Hojas Son Del Viento, according to DoReSol
At the beginning of *Artaud*, the third and final album by Pescado Rabioso, we find *Todas Las Hojas Son Del Viento*. This piece, lasting just over two minutes, opens the album and immerses us in a particular atmosphere. The music, the work of Luis Alberto Spinetta, is built upon an idea that resonates throughout the entire discography, connecting the different parts.
This album, released in 1973, is presented as Spinetta's first solo work, who decided to use the band's name despite its dissolution earlier that year. The title and conception of the album are deeply linked to the work of the French poet Antonin Artaud. The design of the original packaging, with its irregular shape, was a point of debate with the record label. Spinetta presented this material in two morning performances at the Teatro Astral, on Avenida Corrientes, accompanied only by his guitar. The song, moreover, is dedicated to Cristina Bustamante, the musician's ex-partner, who at that time informed him that she was pregnant.
