The story behind
Tema de Natalio, according to DoReSol
When Sui Generis released Pequeñas anécdotas sobre las instituciones, their third album, the band was already an electric quartet. Charly García and Nito Mestre added Rinaldo Rafanelli and Juan Rodríguez, and with them came lyrics that closely examined the institutions of society. In songs like Tema de Natalio, which lasts 6:07, the group explored themes of social and political criticism, pointing to the family, the military, police repression, censorship and political assassinations. The very Charly García explained that these institutions represented Power, the military that had taken control of them. Although the criticism received this album very well, it didn't sell as much as the previous ones, something that discouraged Charlie García.
