Carole King wrote Tapestry in 1971, an album that was recorded at Ode Records. The song Tapestry is one of the most well-known tracks on the album, which was released in February of that year. The song lasts 3 minutes and 11 seconds, and became a hit. It was released as a single along with I Feel the Earth Move, which spent several weeks on the top of the charts. The album was recognized by critics and won several Grammy awards, including the award for best album. It remains one of the albums best-selling of all time.
