The story behind
Perdido en un barco, according to DoReSol
In the album Falta amor, Maná included Perdido en un barco as the final single. This track, which has a duration of 4:14, originated from the collaboration between Fher Olvera and Alex Gonzalez. It was one of the songs that helped consolidate the album's success, following the footsteps of Rayando el sol, another track from the same work. The song has been a recurring element in greatest hits compilations and in the band's live performances.
Maná, originally from Mexico, is known for a sound that blends pop rock with Latin rock. The group consists of Fernando Olvera on rhythm guitar, harmonica, and vocals; Juan Calleros on bass; Alejandro González on drums and vocals; and Sergio Vallín on lead guitar and vocals. Their career has earned them accolades such as four Grammy Awards, seven Latin Grammy Awards, five Latin MTV Video Music Awards, five Premios Juventud, nine Billboard Latin Music Awards, and thirteen Lo Nuestro Awards. In 2012, the band left their mark on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the United States. Their music has transcended borders, gaining popularity in Australia, Spain, the United States, Western Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
