Peter Gene Hernández, known worldwide as Bruno Mars, was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on October 8, 1985. From a very young age, immersed in a family of musicians, he began to develop his musical talent, performing on local stages. After moving to Los Angeles to pursue his career, he signed with Atlantic Records in 2009, following an initial unsuccessful stint with Motown Records.
