The story behind
Non c’è, according to DoReSol
When Laura Pausini took her first steps in music, she did so singing in piano bars with her father, Fabrizio Pausini. It was during one of these performances that music producer Angelo Valsiglio discovered her. Valsiglio saw great potential in her, but for her to make her way in the Italian music scene, the next step was to perform at the renowned Sanremo Festival. Together with other composers, Frederico Cavalli and Pietro Cremonesi, work was done on the songs that would shape her first album.
The song Non c’è, with a duration of 4:38, is one of the pieces that emerged from this period. Its music was created by Angelo Valsiglio and Freddy Cavalli. This debut album, released in Italy on May 18, 1993, under the CGD Records label, became a resounding success, selling around 10 million copies worldwide. It was this album that catapulted La Solitudine to international fame, consolidating Laura Pausini as an artist with global projection.
